Ricky - Fitz discussed the possibility of that sorta thing with me awhile back... I know he wanted to do a live webcast with a few TS regulars... Dunno what came of that.

Avery - Don't worry. If he doesn't come back then... well... oh well

Matt - I do think he might be gone for good, but who knows? Maybe this has all been prep time for one really amazing post!

OOH! Maybe he's undercover doing that expose he was talking about a couple months ago, and can't directly contact us!

Matt - maybe we have shorter attention spans than you do, but Fitz used to be on multiple times a day, so almost a month with no posts is a significant loss of entertainment and contact for us.

I guess the fact that we're still talking here is a testament to his possible return, but I'd still like to see Fitz take two minutes out of his now incredibly busy life to tell us that.

And I have given up on my funeral blog. Too risky, and it depresses me. I love what I do, but it seems bad on paper...er, in print.

I also happen to know that he's been on a certain dating site within the last week. He didn't respond to my email, mind you, other than to visit my profile, but at least we know he's alive (damned guy).

So, I'll continue to check in and at least view the chatter.

If Fitz doesn't return, perhaps we should start our own post-TS blog - I'm not sure what in the hell we'd write about, but a shortage of topics hasn't stopped us in the past, so I'm sure we'd think of something. We could each be guest bloggers ranting about things that have pissed us off or annoyed us in the previous week - just a thought.

I've got to agree with Joker here. We are all just going off of assumptions. We don't know anything other than he hasn't been on this site for 16 days. For all we know he lost his internet from his house, and this site is blocked at work. I think we should all just take comfort in knowing he isn't dead in a ditch somewhere. He will probably be back at some point. Logically, people don't spend as much time and effort as he did building a social site like this and then one day decide to never return. Unless it has been all one big social experiment. In which case he got us good.

Ladies and gentlemen... Couple things.

1) Leave him alone. We know he's switching jobs, and he's got a female that Julie and I imagined up for him...

2) There has been an official Fitz sighting! He logged onto Yahoo Mesenger today, and logged back out 20 minutes later... But it means he's alive and internet-capable!
